Snow Angels Community Initiative
Do you need help to clear snow from your driveway and / or walkway this winter? Snow Angels Canada is a community initiative that will help match people who need help clearing snow with local volunteers in their area. Find about more about Snow Angels in Belleville.

Accessible Public Transportation
Belleville Transit encourages inclusive use of our fixed-route transit services. All standard transit buses feature:
- Front door ramp and lowering ability
- Priority seating for persons with disabilities
- Space for mobility device parking
- Pre-boarding visual and audio announcements of bus route
- On-board visual and audio announcements of next stop
- On-board visual and audio confirmation of stop requests
- Friendly and helpful bus operators

The Mobility Bus
Belleville Transit also operates an on-demand, door-to-door public transit service called the Mobility Bus.

Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre
The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre (Q.S.W.C) is the main recreational complex in Belleville. It offers a variety of facilities with many accessibility features. Come check it out and get involved!

The Q.S.W.C features 3 pools, a main swimming pool, a therapy pool, and a kids pool.

Fitness |
Work out studio and group fitness rooms: located on the second floor and accessible by an elevator close by. Staff are onsite to assist with any equipment modifications or other needs. Personal training is available. We encourage inclusive use of the work out studio and inclusive participation in our fitness programs. We welcome accessibility requests, and also offer a selection of adaptive program options. Indoor track: located on the second floor, accessible by an elevator close by. We encourage inclusive use of the track and welcome the use of assistive devices. Gymnasium: located on the on the first floor, at ground level. Again, inclusive participation in our drop-in and registration programs is encouraged. |
Ice Rinks |
There are 4 arenas in the Q.S.W.C.
We encourage inclusive use and enjoyment of our ice rinks. We also offer adaptive skating programs and have a selection of skating aids on site. |

Belleville Public Library
Check out the great community hub that is the Belleville Public Library. We strive to meet the educational, recreational, and information needs of Belleville residents.
The building is accessible with power door access, wide and clear aisles, lowered service counters, elevator access to the upper levels, and accessible washrooms.
