Snow Angels is a community initiative that matches residents who need help clearing snow with local volunteers, or "snow angels", in their area. It is completely free, as it relies on the generous support of local volunteers.
Clearing snow can be a barrier for many people, including older adults and people living with a disability. It can affect a person's ability to live at home safely and as independently as possible. Let's have some community spirit this winter and show people why Belleville is a great place to live!
Register now for the 2023 / 2024 winter season. You need to register both to submit a request for help and to become a volunteer.

Snow Angels can match you with a local volunteer who will help clear snow from your driveway and / or walkway.

We want to celebrate the volunteers who are showing true community spirit by helping out a neighbour this winter. Submit a nomination for your Snow Angel and they will be entered in a monthly draw to win awesome City of Belleville toques and sweaters.
With the permission of the person making the nomination and with the permission of the volunteers and monthly draw winners, we may share your story on our website and / or social media.
We would like to remind residents that Snow Angels is a community initiative, not a City of Belleville run program. We do not have any administrative control, however we are happy to promote the program, raise awareness, and encourage community involvement.
