Sidney Street North Resurfacing Now Complete

The Cities of Belleville and Quinte West were pleased to celebrate the completion of the Sidney Street North resurfacing project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning.

The project, which was a joint initiative between the two cities, included the complete reconstruction of the road with new culverts, asphalt resurfacing, updated line painting and the addition of new paved shoulders for active transportation between Millennium Parkway and Vermilyea Road.

Drain Bros. Excavating Limited began construction in August and the road has officially reopened to the public. We would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding while this work was being completed.
