
Due to forecast weather conditions, in addition to tonight (Jan. 7) the City of Belleville will open the overnight warming centre on Friday evening at the west entrance of the former Belleville Police Station (93 Dundas St. East) as well. Visitors will be screened using the latest COVID-19 screening tool and must register upon entry. Face masks and physical distancing are required at all times.
WHEN: Thursday, Jan. 7 and Friday, Jan. 8 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
WHERE: Former Belleville Police Station (93 Dundas St. East), entry through the west entrance of the building.

The interim threshold for the warming centre stands at -10C (-15C wind-chill) until a final decision is made at the next Belleville City Council meeting in January. Please note that this is a warming centre for individuals to come in from the cold. Beds and meals are not provided.
