Timeline
- May — Preliminary survey to gauge residents’ budget priorities (closes June 6)
- June to August — Presentation of feedback received and adoption of capital and operating budget guidelines
- October — Draft capital budget and survey posted to obtain feedback (closes Nov. 3)
- November — Capital budget council meeting and presentation of feedback received
- January — Draft operating budget and survey posted to obtain feedback (closes Feb. 18)
- February — Operating budget council meeting and presentation of feedback received
Capital Budget & 10-Year Capital Plan
The draft 2026 Capital Budget and 10-Year Capital Plan were approved by Council at the Nov. 18, 2025 Special Meeting. These can be found at Belleville.ca/Budget.
Draft Operating Budget
Internal deliberations on the 2026 Operating Budget are now underway with an anticipated release date for public feedback in January. Be sure to subscribe to this page to stay up-to-date on updates and future engagement opportunities!
