The City's annual budgets play a key role in shaping the services, infrastructure, and programs that impact your daily life—from roads and parks to emergency services and community initiatives. As we plan for the year ahead, we invite residents, businesses, and community partners to be part of the budget process.

Timeline
- May — Preliminary survey to gauge residents’ budget priorities (closes June 6)
- June to August — Presentation of feedback received and adoption of capital and operating budget guidelines
- October — Draft capital budget and survey posted to obtain feedback (closes Nov. 3)
- November — Capital budget council meeting and presentation of feedback received
- January — Draft operating budget and survey posted to obtain feedback (closes Feb. 18)
- February — Operating budget council meeting and presentation of feedback received
