Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre Programming Impacted by Power Disruptions

The City of Belleville is advising residents that ongoing power disruptions at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre (QSWC) are impacting facility operations and programming. 

All aquatic and recreational programming scheduled for this evening, as well as all ice and meeting room rentals at the facility, have been cancelled. 

Programming and facility operations may continue to be impacted over the weekend. Residents and facility users are encouraged to check for updates before travelling to the QSWC. 

The power disruptions are also affecting phone service at the facility, and the east elevators are currently out of service. During this time, residents may experience difficulty reaching the QSWC by phone and are encouraged to plan accordingly when visiting the facility. 

City staff are monitoring the situation and will provide updates on any further cancellations or changes to facility operations as information becomes available. Updates will be shared through the City’s website and through the QSWC’s Facebook page. 

The City appreciates the patience and understanding of residents and facility users while these issues are being addressed.
