- Loyalist College offers diploma, certificate and skilled trades programs.
- Queen's University is located about one hour from Belleville in Kingston.
- St. Lawrence College has campuses across eastern Ontario.
- Academy of Learning Career College offers diploma and certificate programs at its Belleville campus and through online learning.
- First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI), located in nearby Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, partners with Canadian colleges and universities to offer degree, diploma and certificate programs to Indigenous and non-Indigenous students.
Training in skilled trades and technology is also available through the Bay of Quinte Skills Centre at Loyalist College.

- Loyola School of Adult and Continuing Education offers programs to complete an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and improve English language skills.
- Quinte Adult Education provides options for adults age 18 and older to earn high school credits or upgrade for college or university.
