Community Gardens

Grow vegetables, herbs, flowers and other plants in a shared outdoor space at one of the City’s community gardens.

The Community Gardens Program was created in 2012 to give residents access to garden space in City parks. Residents who do not have space at home can apply for a garden bed each season.

Garden Locations

The City operates three community garden sites:

Bayview Heights Community Garden 50 Beds

75 Bay Dr.

Ponton Park Community Garden 21 Beds

251 Dundas St. West

West Hill Community Garden 26 Beds

41 Octavia St.

All beds are raised and provide approximately 40 square feet of growing space.
