Join us at West Zwick’s Park on July 1 for a full day of free, family-friendly Canada Day celebrations!

Enjoy live entertainment, activities for all ages, delicious food vendors and a spectacular fireworks show over the Bay of Quinte. Bring your friends, family and neighbours and celebrate Canada Day together in Belleville!

When and Where

Date: July 1
Location: West Zwick’s Park, 10 Bay Bridge Rd.
Admission: Free

Activities take place throughout the day, with fireworks lighting up the sky at dusk (about 10 p.m.).

What to Expect

There’s something for everyone at Belleville’s Canada Day celebration.

Explore activity zones across the park with fun for kids and adults alike, including:

  • Face painting
  • Balloon art
  • Inflatable play areas
  • Hula hoop and interactive activity zones
  • Carriage rides
  • Stilt walkers and comedy performers

Stop by to meet local organizations and learn about services that support the Belleville community, including Belleville Fire and Emergency Services and Belleville Police Service.

Enjoy live music and performances from local artists on the main stage throughout the day.

End the day with a fireworks display over the Bay of Quinte at dusk.

Bring your appetite. A variety of food vendors will be on site offering meals, snacks and refreshments.

You’re also welcome to bring a picnic and relax in the park with family and friends.

Getting There

Free Shuttle Service

To make getting to the park easier, free shuttle buses run throughout the day between:

  • Quinte Mall
  • Downtown Belleville transit terminal
  • West Zwick’s Park

Shuttles begin at 11 a.m. and run until about 10:30 p.m. After the fireworks, shuttle pickup takes place on Bay Bridge Road.

Parking

Parking is available near the park for a $5 donation to local community groups. Spaces may fill quickly, so using the shuttle is encouraged.

The City of Belleville is committed to making Canada Day welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Available supports include:

  • Accessible parking
  • Additional accessible washrooms
  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during opening ceremonies
