Important Information
- Trees are planted only in approved park spaces.
- Tree placement is evaluated for safety and infrastructure considerations.
- Trees are not planted in natural or woodland areas.
- Tree species may be selected from the approved donation form list, subject to nursery availability.
- Plaques are optional and not included with the tree donation.
- Any plaque purchased separately must meet City of Belleville standards.
- Ashes, flowers, decorations and memorial items are not permitted near or on trees and will be removed.
- The City may relocate a donated tree if required. Parks staff will contact the donor to discuss alternative locations.
Application Deadline
Applications must be received by July 1 for planting between mid-October and Dec. 1.
Applications received after July 1 will be considered for the following year.

- The City reviews the application and confirms location availability.
- Payment instructions are provided after approval.
