Boat Launches
The City of Belleville operates two public boat launches offering convenient access to the Bay of Quinte for recreational boating enjoyment.
Both launches are seasonal, typically open from spring through fall. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the water, please ensure you carry a valid boater's licence with your watercraft and follow all public health measures and municipal and provincial regulations.
South George Street Boat Launch
Located in Jane Forrester Park along the Kiwanis Bayshore Trail.
Services and amenities at the South George Street location include:
- Boat launch ramp
- Seasonal washrooms
- On-site parking with daily or seasonal boat ramp pass
Boat Ramp Passes
A boat ramp pass is required to launch watercraft at City boat launches.
Seasonal passes can be used at both launch locations. Taxes are included. Fees are subject to change.

How to Purchase a Pass
Boat ramp passes are available through the HotSpot mobile app or at on-site ticket machines.
HotSpot allows users to:
- Purchase daily or seasonal passes
- Manage licence plates for vehicles and trailers
- Renew passes automatically
A service fee may apply when using the app.
