Join the Mayor, City Council and staff as they offer greetings for the year ahead. Live music may be featured during the event to create a festive atmosphere.
New Year's Levee
Start off the new year at the City’s New Year’s Levee—a community tradition where residents, visitors, the Mayor and City Council gather to greet the year ahead with refreshments, music, reflection and connection.
What to Expect
The New Year’s Levee is a community gathering that brings people together to mark the beginning of the year with good wishes, music and light activities.
Light refreshments are typically served during the levee. After the official welcome, community members are invited to mingle, reflect and connect. In some years, a free public skate on nearby ice surfaces may follow the levee (with capacity and safety guidelines).
