West Riverside Park Service Disruptions

Due to Hydro One and Elexicon Energy power line work at Riverside Park, the West Riverside Splash Pad and washrooms are now closed. The pirate ship playground will remain open during daytime hours, with a portable toilet available on-site during construction.

Templeman Aquatic Centre Closure

The Templeman Aquatic Centre at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre is closed until Monday, Sept. 21 for the start of fall aquatic programming. The annual shutdown allows for necessary maintenance, repairs and facility improvement projects. 

As part of these upgrades, the men’s and women’s pool change rooms will be closed Aug. 29 to Sept. 5, followed by the family change room closure Sept. 6 to Sept. 12. Alternative change rooms on the second floor will be available, and at least one pool change room option will remain open throughout the renovation period.

All other areas of the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre will remain open.

Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre

The Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre is a multi-use community hub for recreation, wellness, sports, programs and events. This 330,000-square foot facility offers arenas, pool, fitness and yoga spaces, meeting rooms, community connection and other onsite amenities for residents and visitors of all ages.

Amenities and services include:

  • Sports and recreation: four arenas, aquatics centre, gymnasium, indoor track and fitness, yoga and work out studios.
  • Programs and community spaces: several meeting spaces with various capacity limits and amenities, learning studio, preschool room, outdoor courtyard space, Belleville's 50+ Centre and minor sports offices.
  • On-site amenities: Belleville Sports Hall of Fame, day use lockers, Belleville Senator's box office and adminisitrative offices, physiotherapy and massage therapy services and Courtyard Cafe.
  • Customer Service Desk: program registration, facility rentals, recreation account support, gift certificates, fee assistance, lost and found, emergency assistance and support, special events and bookings, City services i.e. tax and water bill payments, dog tags, garbage tags, transit passes etc.

The facility is open seven days per week (with the exception of some holidays).

Seasonal Hours and Service Changes

Community Services offers a number of services at the QSWC Client Services desk, including: program registration, facility rentals support, recreation account support, gift certificates, fee assistance, lost and found, emergency assistance and support, special events and bookings, and City services, such as. tax and water bill payments, dog tags, garbage tags, transit passes, etc.

Summer 2026 hours run from June 27 - August 28.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays – 5:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursday – 6:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
  • Fridays – 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturdays – 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sundays – 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Summer/Fall 2026 Interim Hours

As we transition from Summer to Fall hours, the Client Services Desk is open the following hours from August 29 - September 18:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays – 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursday – 6:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
  • Fridays – 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays & Sundays – 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fall 2026 Hours

 The Client Services Desk is open the following hours from September 19 - December 18, 2026:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays – 5:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursday – 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Fridays – 5:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays – 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Sundays – 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Please note the following changes to service this year: 

  • May 18 (Victoria Day) – Facility Closed
  • July 1 (Canada Day) – Facility Closed
  • Aug. 3 (Civic Holiday) – Facility open and rentals available. Customer service desk closed and no regular scheduled programs.
  • Sept. 5 to Sept. 7 (Labour Day Weekend) – Facility Closed
  • Sept. 30 (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation) – Facility Closed
  • Oct. 12 (Thanksgiving Day) – Facility Closed
  • Oct. 31 (Halloween) – Programs and customer service desk close at 4 p.m.
  • Nov. 11 (Remembrance Day) – Customer service desk closed and no regular scheduled programs.
  • Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) – Facility closed at noon.
  • Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) – Facility Closed
  • Dec. 26 (Boxing Day) – Facility Closed
  • Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve) – Facility closed at noon.
