Proposed Surplus Declaration and Sale
Take Notice that, pursuant to By-Law 2022-133, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Belleville heard a proposal to declare the City-owned property legally described as PART JOHN STREET, PLAN 58; THURLOW; S/T INTEREST IN THE2187 IF ANY; BELLEVILLE; COUNTY OF HASTINGS surplus to its needs at its Regular Council Meeting on July 27, 2026. The meeting was held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 169 Front St, Belleville, Ontario. Should the sale be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law authorizing the sale of the land to an abutting landowner.
A map showing the subject property is on file and may be examined at the Realty Property Services office of the City of Belleville by contacting 613-968-6481 to view.

And Take Further Notice that Staff shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
