City of Belleville recognizes National Physicians’ Day on May 1
The City of Belleville is recognizing National Physicians’ Day on May 1, an opportunity to celebrate and thank the physicians who care for residents across the community.
Physicians in Belleville play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families at every stage of life. From routine appointments to complex care, their expertise, compassion and dedication make a meaningful difference each day.
“National Physicians’ Day is an opportunity to recognize the dedication, skill and compassion that physicians bring to our community every day,” said Karen Poste, Manager of Physician Recruitment and Retention for the City of Belleville. “Whether they are caring for patients in clinics, hospitals or across community settings, physicians play a vital role in keeping Belleville healthy and supported. We encourage residents to take a moment to thank a physician and acknowledge the difference they make in our lives.”
The City continues to support efforts to recruit and retain physicians, helping to strengthen access to care and ensure Belleville remains a welcoming and supportive place for healthcare professionals to live and work.
Residents are encouraged to recognize National Physicians’ Day by thanking a physician who has made a difference in their life, whether through a kind word, note or message of appreciation.
