Doors Open Belleville Invites Residents to Explore Local Heritage on Sept. 12

Heritage Belleville, an advisory committee of the City of Belleville, is inviting residents and visitors to discover the stories behind some of the Quinte area's most unique buildings and historic sites during Doors Open Belleville on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (hours vary by location), visitors can enjoy free access to 22 participating sites, many of which are not regularly open to the public. Volunteers will be on hand to share the history, architecture, and significance of each location through guided tours and information displays.

Presented in partnership with the Ontario Heritage Trust as part of Doors Open Ontario, Doors Open Belleville has welcomed visitors to explore the community's heritage since 2002.

• Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County

• Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Museum
