Fire Safety Statement
Belleville Fire & Emergency Services would like to remind residents that under the Fireworks By-law (2025-142), consumer fireworks are strictly prohibited in all areas of Belleville without strict permission from the Fire Chief. This also includes all City-owned lands and parks.
Violations of the fireworks by-law involving unsafe discharges are enforced by the fire department. If you observe fireworks being discharged in an unsafe manner, call 9-1-1. View the full by-law on our Commonly Requested By-Laws webpage.
