Recreation and program information from QSWC.ca has moved to the City’s website, making it easier to find programs, services and community information all in one place. Existing QSWC.ca links will continue to redirect automatically. Check out the new Recreation webpage for more information!

Victoria Day Service Changes

May 13, 2026

Please note the following changes to City services this Victoria Day long weekend:

  • City Hall – Closed May 18.
  • Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Closed May 18. Special schedule May 16 and 17. For more information and to register, visit QSWC.ca.
  • Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit will NOT run on May 18.
  • Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – No change to regular hours.
  • Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed May 18.
  • Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours.
  • Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed May 18.
  • Belleville Public Library – Closed May 18.
  • Community Archives – Closed May 18.

There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin, recycling or bulky items collection.
