Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre Impacted by Power Disruptions

The City of Belleville is advising residents that ongoing power disruptions at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre (QSWC) are impacting facility operations and programming.

All aquatic and recreational programming scheduled, as well as all ice and meeting room rentals at the facility, have been cancelled for the remainder of the day. The power disruptions are also affecting phone service at the facility and the east elevator is currently out of service.

Tonight’s Belleville Senators game in CIBC Place at 7 p.m. will take place as planned.

City staff are monitoring the situation and will provide updates on any further cancellations or changes to facility operations as information becomes available. Updates will be shared through the City’s website and through the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre’s Facebook page.

The City appreciates the patience and understanding of residents and facility users while these issues are being addressed.
