Voting Period Now Open

Voters can cast their ballots through internet and telephone voting now until Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. In addition, paper ballots will be available at the Voter Assistance Centres prior to Election Day.

Service Changes on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The City of Belleville will be recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation this Wednesday, Sept. 30. Please note the following changes to City services:

  • City Hall – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit running as usual.
  • Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Thurlow Landfill – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – No change to regular public hours.
  • Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Belleville Public Library – Closed Sept. 30.
  • Community Archives – Closed Sept. 30.

There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin or bulky items collection.
