Transit Route Updates Coming May 4

The City of Belleville is advising residents of upcoming service adjustments to Belleville Transit that will take effect Monday, May 4, 2026. These changes are being implemented to improve service efficiency and accommodate operational needs. 

Beginning May 4: 

• Routes 3 and 4 will service the main loop at Loyalist College. The Pioneer Building will no longer be serviced.  
• Routes 5A and 5B will no longer travel along Bleecker Avenue between Bridge Street East and Victoria Avenue. Buses will instead use MacDonald Avenue between these streets. No bus stops will be affected by this change.  
• The bus stop near the Walmart entrance will be removed from service. Temporarily, the only active stop in the area will be on Millennium Parkway in front of the boulevard near St. Louis Bar & Grill until a new stop and shelter are constructed further along the boulevard. 

“Belleville Transit continually reviews routes and service delivery to ensure we are meeting the needs of our riders as effectively as possible,” said Brad Strauss, Manager of Transit Services. “We appreciate residents’ patience and understanding as these updates are implemented.”
