City Transit Seeks Rider Feedback with Online Survey

BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville Transit Department works to improve the service provided to the community on an ongoing basis. To assist in this process an online survey for transit riders, called Rate Your Ride, has been introduced and is available on the City website at Rider comments will be used to collect information from those accessing the system, providing valuable insight into strengths and weaknesses, helping to determine future improvement decisions.

Riders will have the convenience of completing the survey via mobile devices each time they take the bus¬ - in just a matter of moments. The feedback will supply information on routes taken, transfer locations and driver courtesy. A few seconds of the riders’ time and Transit is provided with relevant, current data, a valuable tool in helping to make the Belleville system as strong as possible.

“As in every City department, change is an ongoing process as we balance the needs of the community with budget responsibilities,” states Matt Coffey, Transit Manager. “The objective of introducing this online survey is to enable riders to have a voice and as we review this feedback we hope to gain more insight into the system from the customers’ viewpoint.”

Transit riders are asked to make this quick survey a part of their riding experience - the greater the number of surveys completed, the more powerful the impact will be.
