The City of Belleville is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Barlow as Director of Environmental Services.
Jason brings more than 25 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater sector, with a career spanning operations, regulatory compliance, infrastructure planning, and environmental services leadership. He has held operational and management roles overseeing water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution and collection systems, and licensed compliance programs within regulated municipal environments.
Throughout his career, Jason has led operational teams, modernized practices and procedures, supported emergency response planning and regulatory reporting, and worked collaboratively with engineering, finance, and other municipal departments to align day-to-day operations with long-term infrastructure planning. He has also contributed to environmental and engineering publications on topics such as water loss management and infrastructure renewal, drawing on practical municipal experience. Jason’s career reflects a strong commitment to protecting public health, maintaining regulatory confidence, and delivering reliable, sustainable environmental services for the communities he serves.
Jason will begin his new position effective Monday, March 9.
