Housing, Downtown Revitalization & Brownfield Redevelopment CIP Update Meeting

A public consultation centre will be held at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre on Sept. 23 to gather feedback on draft programs under the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Update for Housing, Downtown Revitalization and Brownfield Redevelopment.

WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre (265 Cannifton Rd.), Fireplace Room (1st Floor)

The CIP update revisits priorities and financial incentives that will help reach several community improvement objectives, including facilitating city-wide development of housing, including affordable and missing middle housing, supporting downtown revitalization, assisting in the remediation and redevelopment of brownfield sites, and improving overall quality of life and community health.  

There will be no formal presentations, so those interested can attend at their convenience. Project staff will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions.
