On behalf of Belleville City Council and the City of Belleville, I would like to extend my congratulations to Bay of Quinte MP-elect Chris Malette.
Chris has demonstrated his passion for our city as a councillor over the past two terms, and I thank him for his service to the community. I am confident that he has a thorough understanding of the issues we face as a growing city and will do all he can to support us as we tackle these issues together. As a Council, we look forward to working closely with Chris going forward.
I would also like to thank Ryan Williams for serving as our MP for the last three and a half years. We are grateful for his efforts in making our region a better place.
