June is Recreation and Parks Month and Seniors’ Month

Join the City of Belleville’s Community Services Department during the month of June as we celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM), the movement promoted by Parks and Recreation Ontario and the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association. June is also provincially recognized in Ontario as Seniors Month and promoted through the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility. The Community Services Department is promoting JRPM and Seniors Month and encouraging various ways to be physically and mentally engaged and active both inside and outdoors with free programming throughout the month at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.

In addition to programming, the Community Services Department will be hosting the:

2025 Activities in Park Event at Zwick’s Park
Tuesday, June 3 between 3-7 p.m.

Bring the family to the park for a fun afternoon and evening at one of the City's beautiful parks as we bring together our amazing community. Don't forget a lawn chair or two!

City of Belleville Mayor, Neil Ellis, along with mayors in surrounding municipalities will compete in a "bragging rights" cornhole challenge! One lucky City of Belleville resident will also have the opportunity to compete for a chance to walk away with a special prize.
