The City of Belleville provides accessible services, programs and facilities. We are committed to removing barriers and supporting inclusive access for all residents.

Belleville Transit (Conventional Service)

All buses are accessible and include:

  • Front-door ramp and kneeling capability
  • Priority seating for people with disabilities
  • Space for mobility devices
  • Visual and audio stop announcements
  • Visual and audio stop-request confirmation

Mobility Bus (Specialized Service)

The Mobility Bus provides door-to-door service for eligible riders with disabilities.

The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre offers accessible recreation spaces and programs.

Pools

  • Ramp entry to all pools

Fitness and Recreation Spaces

  • Elevator access to second-floor fitness areas
  • Staff support for equipment modifications
  • Inclusive fitness and recreation programs
  • Accessible indoor track
  • Ground-level gymnasium

Arenas

  • Ice-level access in all arenas
  • Accessible viewing areas (varies by arena)
  • Elevators available in select arenas
  • Accessible entrances and doors

Skating aids are available during family skate times.

The Belleville Public Library is an accessible community space offering:

  • Step-free entry with power doors
  • Wide aisles and accessible service counters
  • Elevator access to upper levels
  • Accessible washrooms
