Program Registration and Account Information

Registration Payments

Payments must be made at the time of registration. Accepted methods include:

• Credit card is accepted in person, by phone, and online (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express)
• Cash, debit, and credit is accepted in person

Cheques must be made payable to the City of Belleville. There is a $45 fee for any returned cheque.

Check Your Receipt

Your receipt or registration confirmation includes important details such as:

• Program dates and times
• Location
• Any exclusion dates specific to your course

Save or print your confirmation so you have these details available.

City Issued Cancellation

• If the City cancels a program, you can switch to another course or receive a credit on your account.

Withdraws Before Program Start Date (at least 24 hours prior)

• You will receive a credit on your account.
• A $15 administration fee applies.

Withdraws Less than 24 Hours Before Program Start Date

• You will not receive a refund or credit except in special cases.
• You may transfer to another program if space is available.
• The administration fee does not apply for transfers.

Withdraws After a Program has Started

• Refunds or credits are not issued except in special cases.
• You may transfer to another program if space is available. The administration fee does not apply for transfers.

Medical Required Withdraws

• Credits will be pro‑rated based on attendance.
• The administration fee will not apply.

Recreational (Drop In) Swim, Skate, Sport and Game Withdraws

• You can withdraw from these programs online, by phone or in person. You will receive a credit or, where possible, a refund to your original payment method (except cash – issued by cheque). You are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to allow others to register.
• For debit and credit card refunds, the amount will be returned to the original card within 3-5 business days. Cheque refunds are mailed 10-15 business days after the cheque clears the system.
• If you make multiple withdrawals in a single transaction, you will only be charged one administration fee.
