The Community Services Department operates two seasonal boat launches on the City’s waterfront, one located at the south end of Herchimer Avenue and the other at South George Street.
Enjoy the water safely by ensuring an up-to-date boater’s license is always with the watercraft. Please ensure all public health measures and municipal/provincial guidelines are being respected.
Boat ramp pass
The 2026 prices for passes are:
- Seasonal rate $79.00 (tax included) can be used at both launch locations.
- Daily rate $7.25 (tax included)

Until Jan. 15, 2026, we will be accepting 2026 seasonal passes purchased through the seasonal boat ramp pass form with all applicable information, complete transaction with payment and a member of our client service team will be in touch.
After this date, all Seasonal/Daily Passes will be accepted through HotSpot only. Daily passes are available at both launch locations through onsite ticketing machines.
