How Subsidies Work
Once approved:
- The subsidy is applied to eligible program fees, according to the approved rate (25, 50 or 75 per cent off).
- You may register for eligible programs at the discounted rate without applying again for each program.
- Fee assistance is valid from July 1 to June 30 each year and must be renewed annually.
The program uses the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) thresholds set by Statistics Canada to determine eligibility.
