Street Tree Planting

Street trees are only planted in the spring, between April 15 and July 1 (may be extended if weather permits), and the fall between Sept. 15 and Nov. 15 (may be extended or shortened depending on weather). Boulevard or street trees are subject to budget availability and set-back requirements.

We do not plant street trees in areas that are still under development.

To request a tree using our Report an Issue form, please select "Roadways & Boulevards" as the service area and "Street Tree Request" as the issue you are reporting. Complete the remaining fields with the information required. Submitting this form will create a Work Order with Outdoor Operations.

Street Tree Maintenance

New trees require regular care and upkeep in order to grow and thrive. If you are requesting a tree, we ask that you please follow the tree care instructions we provide in order to help your tree take root. Although the tree may be on City property, we do not provide regular care and maintenance and it is the responsibility of the homeowner to care for the tree.
