Healthcare

Belleville is a regional hub for health care services, offering a range of primary, specialized and hospital care to residents across Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

Finding a Family Doctor

Like many Ontario communities, Belleville is experiencing a shortage of family doctors. The City supports physician recruitment through its Doctor Recruitment Program, which has attracted more than 60 new family physicians in recent years.

If you need a family doctor, contact Health Care Connect, a Government of Ontario program that helps residents find a family doctor or nurse practitioner accepting new patients.
